  • The Role: Bookkeeper and AccountantAffinity Care MN is looking for a bookkeeping/accounting professional in our Bloomington office. We are a home and community-based services provider with multiple locations in the twin cities. We are a team of honest, family-oriented, and motivated people who love our jobs! The ideal candidate will be extremely detail-oriented and will take ownership of the bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, site costs, billing, financial reports, and reconciliation for our small healthcare company. The ideal candidate LOVES numbers, is comfortable, and has experience with QuickBooks. Experience in accounting/bookkeeping in the healthcare industry is a plus but not a requirement!

  • Location: Affinity Residential Care's Bloomington Office

  • Pay: This is an hourly position - $24-31/hr

  • Hours: 20-30 Hours per Week - Flexible Schedule

What Kind Of Qualifications Do You Need?

Background in Accounting or Bookkeeping, with related degree is preferable.

QuickBooks Experience

Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.

Excellent written/verbal communication skills, and attention to detail/fact checking skills

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and handle a variety of projects and tasks.

A hybrid schedule is acceptable however, must come into the office at least two days a week.

This Role Is For You If...

You enjoy general bookkeeping duties, including AP/AR, site-cost accounting, reviewing payroll, etc.

You are able to reconcile bank statements, review, report, and audit financials.

You are able to work closely with tax accountants, and prepare documentation, as needed.

You are able to maintain subcontractor agreements and insurance. 

You are eager to work on special financial projects, as requested.
