Job Description
Registered Nurses (RNs) in Affinity Care will provide skilled nursing care, oversee residents' healthcare needs, and coordinate care within an interdisciplinary team. They conduct assessments, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, and provide treatments as necessary. RNs collaborate with other healthcare professionals, document residents' health records, and ensure compliance with regulations. They offer education and support to residents and their families, respond to emergencies, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. RNs in residential care facilities play a vital role in promoting residents' well-being and delivering high-quality care.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Licensure:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from an accredited institution.

Successful completion of the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).

Valid and current nursing license in the home country, and eligibility for licensure in the state where the residential care facility is located.
Clinical Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a registered nurse, preferably in a residential care or long-term care setting.

Experience in geriatric care or working with elderly patients is highly desirable.

Familiarity with common medical conditions and diseases among the elderly population.
Language Proficiency:

Proficient in English (written and verbal) to effectively communicate with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.

Additional language proficiency in the home country's language is a plus, but not mandatory.
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in basic nursing procedures, including medication administration, wound care, vital signs monitoring, and documentation.

Knowledge of infection control protocols and ability to implement them effectively.

Competence in operating medical equipment commonly used in residential care settings.
