Housing Support

At Affinity Residential Care, we support individuals who need assistance finding and maintaining stable housing in the community.

Housing stability plays a vital role in health, independence, and overall well-being. Our Housing Support services help individuals access housing resources and supportive services to live safely and successfully in the community.

The Housing Support program, administered by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS), helps eligible individuals pay for housing costs and essential living needs. The program is designed to prevent homelessness and reduce the need for institutional care.

What is Housing Support?

  • Food and household supplies

  • Basic living necessities

  • Support services that help individuals maintain stable housing.

Housing Support aims to help people live as independently as possible while reducing the risk of homelessness or institutional placement.
